About the event
Each year Christians across the world gather for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Millions of believers around the world face pressure, discrimination, and violence because they follow Jesus. Many are denied basic rights such as access to education or safe employment. Others experience imprisonment and even death for refusing to deny Christ.
We believe that when one part of the Body of Christ suffers, we all suffer with it. Through prayer we encourage those who are hurting, we ask God to strengthen their faith, and we remember that the Gospel continues to advance even in places of hardship.
Come join us for a focused time of worship, Scripture, and intercession. Together we will learn about the Church in restricted nations and lift them up before the Lord. Let us stand with courage and love as we pray for God to move in powerful ways among His people worldwide.
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”
Hebrews 13:3
