Our Worship Services
WORSHIP is the first element of our God-given vision, which involves treasuring and putting on display in all of life the incomparable worth of the God of the Bible. To this end, our goal as a church is every member attending worship services faithfully. Our first service in our new building at 324 West Service Road in Hague was on October 11. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services look a bit different right now. For more information on what you can expect, please see below.
What to Expect
Before You Arrive:
Please sign up for one of our worship services. At the top of our homepage, you'll find a link to the different options.
When You Arrive:
Please enter through the main front doors. Inside the main doors, you will find a table with hand sanitizer, disposable masks, Bibles, and offering envelopes. Feel free to take or use from this table whatever you need. To comply with the most recent Covid-19 government guidelines, we ask that you wear a mask while you're in the building. Those who are under two years of age and those who have an underlying (non Covid-19 related) health condition that makes it difficult to breath do not need to wear a mask.
For those with young children, there will be activity packages available underneath the table (which don't need to be returned). Then, we ask that you immediately find a place to sit in the sanctuary. Seating has been arranged following the 2-metre social distancing rule.
Once You're Inside:
Once you're seated, we kindly ask that you remain seated for the duration of the service. Our services generally include announcements, prayers, singing, and teaching from the Bible. Restrooms will be available, but we ask that you maintain 2-metre social distancing and practice good personal hygiene.
An offering will not be collected during the service. However, there is a tithing box available in the foyer.
Currently, childcare is not available.
Length of the Service:
Currently, our services are usually just over an hour long.
What to Wear:
We're a pretty casual church. A few people dress up, but most of us wear jeans. Please wear whatever feels comfortable to you and, most importantly, honours the Lord.
Normally, we have Sunday School classes available for all ages. Adults meet in the fellowship hall, and children and youth meet in marked rooms throughout the church building. Normally, Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. However, as of December 17, 2020, Sunday School has been cancelled for the rest of the year.
Services will not be live-streamed. However, audio-video recordings are made available on this website after the service.
Questions or Concerns?
Please contact our main office. We'd be happy to hear from you.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
